PFAD sourcing brief for industrial buyers
Buyers searching “what is PFAD” often need a sourcing brief, not a glossary. PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distillate) comes off the palm-oil refine stream and is bought by lot for oleochemical and related plants.
Do not treat PFAD and PKFAD as the same cargo. PKFAD comes from the palm-kernel-oil stream. Short names look alike; origin and quality gates do not. Write the full product name on the RFQ.
Send the exact grade you want, a volume band, the receiving point, and the plant’s intake limits. Flow follows the refine cycle, so offers without those fields are not comparable.
Keep fatty-acid cargo off the biomass fuel yard. Trucks, documents, and storage are a different operation from PKS or EFB.
Admine Energy sources palm oils and fatty acids, including PKFAD, for industrial buyers after product and volume are agreed. There is no online cart.
