What is PAO (palm acid oil)?

PAO (palm acid oil) is high-acid crude palm oil used as industrial feedstock. It is not the same as standard CPO grades food or refining buyers usually discuss.

FFA, colour, moisture, and volume are agreed per lot. There is no single website number that fits every plant for a full year.

Do not confuse PAO with PFAD or PKFAD, which are distillate fatty acid streams from refining—different positions in the chain.
