Chopped EFB vs palm fiber keep them on separate RFQs
| Parameter | Typical specification |
|---|---|
| Chopped EFB moisture | Max 50% by weight |
| Palm fiber moisture | Max 40% by weight |
| Palm fiber calorific value | Above 2,700 kcal/kg |
Figures from Admine product specs used in supply talks — not a lab certificate for every lot.
Chopped EFB is empty bunch cut short. Palm fiber is mill mesocarp fiber. They leave different parts of the fruit and feed screws differently. A single line that says “palm biomass” cannot be compared.
Admine briefs chopped EFB at moisture max 50% by weight and calorific value above 1,700 kcal/kg. Palm fiber is briefed at moisture max 40% and calorific value above 2,700 kcal/kg.
A plant that takes chopped bunch to avoid long whole-EFB fiber may still reject palm fiber. A fiber-capable hopper is not automatically a chopped-EFB hopper. Ask engineering before procurement opens the sheet.
Split the RFQs product name, monthly tonnes, moisture cap, and delivery point for that product only.
Admine Energy sources both grades for Thai plants after the product is named. There is no online cart.
