Palm fiber vs PKS in a boiler blend

ParameterTypical specification
PKS — calorific value3,800–4,500 kcal/kg
PKS — moistureMax 25% by weight
Fiber — calorific valueAbove 2,700 kcal/kg
Fiber — moistureMax 40% by weight

Figures from Admine product specs used in supply talks — not a lab certificate for every lot.

PKS usually carries more energy per tonne. Palm fiber sits between shell and EFB on calorific value and often fills volume where the boiler accepts fibrous fuel.

Admine briefs PKS at 3,800–4,500 kcal/kg with moisture max 25%, and fiber above 2,700 kcal/kg with moisture max 40% by weight.

Blends need engineering approval—bridging, dust, and grate behaviour change when fiber share rises.

State intended blend ratios and moisture caps when asking Admine for Thai fiber and PKS volume.
